Children's Fishing Day

The 5th Annual Step Up For Soldiers Children’s Fishing Day was a GREAT success. Over 130 children of active duty and deployed soldiers participated in the event. The Kure Beach Pier, breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, fishing gear and bait were provided at no charge. Each child received a gift, additional raffle items like computers, fishing rods and more were given out. Immediately after, the kids were invited to the Splash Water Park to conclude the day's events.
